2022 Coffee County Fair Scholarship Winner!

Callie Roper

"I believe in the future of agriculture, with a faith born not of words but of deeds” these are the words of E. M. Tiffany in the opening of the FFA creed. These are the words that have defined my high school experience and the words that will continue to define my life. Everyone is affected by agriculture, but I am part of the 2% of Americans who call it their life. As a fifth-generation farmer, agriculture is my true passion and it is my goal to eventually expand my family farm so that I am able to pursue my passion full time. In the fall I plan to attend Tennessee Tech University to pursue a degree in Agribusiness Management. At Tech, I hope to gain the skills and knowledge necessary to grow my farm and possibly work for an organization like Farm Bureau, Co-op, or Farm Credit Mid-America in ag economics. I am very grateful for this scholarship and it will greatly assist me as I pursue these dreams. I would like to thank the Coffee County Fair Board not only for their support of me, but for their support of agriculture and the rural way of life.
